The Institute of Career Development is an educational company committed to working in partnership with top tier colleges and universities across the country in providing paralegal studies together with post certificate advanced legal studies courses. ICD provides institutions with all inclusive broad based support in faculty training, student support, program marketing, customized websites and further, ensures the program curriculum is updated to remain current and on pace with the newest trends in the legal community.

ICD provides students with an interactive study support platform designed to support campus and online training in both English and Spanish. The curriculum is delivered utilizing an educational management platform in which students learn through interactive study support tools created to deliver chapter by chapter lecture notes, exercises in multiple choice, point and click, fill in the blank, electronic and text-based note cards, quizzes, animations, e-lectures, charts, mock exams and much more. The platform is designed to train students in legal writing, terminology, legal research, authority, trial preparation, investigation, discovery, e-discovery, customized state specific document labs for assignments, Westlaw and Lexis training labs, actual and virtual Law Library training and much more. In addition to learning core foundational skills, over 20 advanced substantive areas of law are offered as credit or non-credit courses

ICD has trained and prepared thousands of students across the country to enter, advance or enhance their legal careers. ICD has matured by offering and developing courses in conjunction with prestigious institutions such as: Duke University, University of California at Berkeley, University of California at Davis, Rice University, DePaul University, Emory University, University of Tennessee, University of Miami, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Xavier University, University of Nevada, and Pace University among others. In addition, ICD has the honor of developing training courses for sitting Judges in conjunction with the California Judicial Council.
